Hi, I’m Annie— Here to Help You Heal, Grow, and Thrive.
I’m a therapist, mom of three, wife, and proud Fresno native who’s passionate about creating spaces where people can feel seen, heard, and empowered. My life is a blend of loving family chaos, meaningful work, and a deep commitment to my community—and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
A Fresno Girl Through and Through
Growing up in Fresno shaped me in ways I’m forever grateful for. After graduating from Fresno State (Go Bulldogs!), I knew I wanted to make a difference right here in the Central Valley. That’s what led me to social work and eventually to founding PINC: Philanthropy Inspired by the Needs of our Community in 2008. What started as an idea to inspire a new wave of philanthropists has grown into something bigger than I ever imagined. Over the years, PINC has raised over a million dollars and logged tens of thousands of volunteer hours to support local nonprofits. It’s a labor of love that keeps me connected to the heart of this community.
The Work I Love
When I’m not wrangling kids or managing nonprofit projects, you’ll find me in my private practice, helping adults and couples navigate life’s ups and downs. I specialize in trauma-informed therapy, using tools like EMDR, Internal Family Systems, and attachment-based care to help clients heal and grow. For me, therapy isn’t just about resolving pain—it’s about creating a space where people can feel understood, supported, and empowered to thrive.
Sharing the Tools for Resilience
I’ve always believed that mental health isn’t something we should only talk about in a therapist’s office. That’s why I love hosting workshops and giving talks to parents, educators, and professionals. Whether it’s teaching parents how to raise emotionally resilient kids, helping realtors manage stress, or showing teachers how to foster empathy in their classrooms, my goal is to make emotional wellness accessible and practical for everyone.
Why I Do What I Do
At the core of everything—my work, my nonprofit, my family—is my belief that emotions are powerful guides. They aren’t something to fear or ignore; they’re tools to help us grow, set boundaries, and build stronger relationships. Life is messy, sure. But it’s also full of opportunity for connection, healing, and joy.
