Therapy Services

  • My approach to therapy is grounded in compassion, safety, and understanding. Trauma-informed therapy recognizes how past experiences, including trauma, shape the way we think, feel, and behave. It’s designed to help you process those experiences in a safe and supportive environment, without judgment.

In our work together, I’ll provide tools to help you feel more grounded, regulate your emotions, and develop resilience. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or the lasting impact of trauma, I tailor each session to meet your unique needs.

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a highly effective, evidence-based therapy for treating trauma and other emotional distress. It helps you process and heal from difficult experiences by addressing the way those memories are stored in your brain and body.

    How It Works:

EMDR uses bilateral stimulation—such as guided eye movements, tapping, or sound—to help your brain reprocess distressing memories. This allows you to resolve the emotional impact of those experiences, reducing symptoms like anxiety, flashbacks, and emotional overwhelm.

    Efficacy:

EMDR is supported by extensive research, with studies showing a success rate of up to 77%–90% for individuals experiencing trauma-related symptoms. It’s recognized by organizations like the American Psychological Association and the World Health Organization as a leading treatment for trauma.

As a therapist fully trained in EMDR, I guide you through this structured yet gentle process, helping you unlock healing and resilience at a pace that feels right for you. Whether you’re dealing with PTSD, anxiety, or other emotional challenges, EMDR can help you move forward with clarity and confidence.

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy is a science-backed approach that helps you understand and heal the different “parts” of yourself—like the inner critic, perfectionist, or people-pleaser. These parts develop as ways to protect us or manage difficult experiences but can sometimes cause conflict or hold us back.

IFS works by helping you identify and understand these parts with curiosity and compassion. By addressing their needs and unburdening their struggles, we restore balance and create space for your core “Self”—a calm, confident part of you—to lead.

Research shows IFS is highly effective for addressing trauma, anxiety, and relational challenges, fostering emotional regulation and self-compassion. I provide IFS-informed therapy, combining its principles with other proven approaches to support your unique journey toward resilience and growth.

  • In my work with couples and families, I focus on strengthening connection, improving communication, and fostering emotional safety. Using evidence-based approaches like attachment theory and the Gottman Method (Levels 1 and 2), I help clients build stronger, more resilient relationships.

    Attachment Theory:

Our early relationships shape how we connect with others. By exploring attachment patterns, we can identify triggers, repair emotional disconnects, and create a foundation of trust and security within your relationships.

    Gottman Method:

This research-backed approach provides practical tools to improve communication, manage conflict, and deepen emotional intimacy. Whether it’s reducing defensiveness, repairing after disagreements, or rekindling affection, the Gottman Method offers proven strategies tailored to your unique relationship dynamics.

    What to Expect:

For Couples: We’ll work to understand and shift patterns that cause disconnection, enhance emotional intimacy, and rebuild trust.

For Families: We’ll address relational challenges, improve communication, and create an environment where every member feels heard, valued, and supported.

My goal is to create a safe space where you can navigate challenges, strengthen your bonds, and build lasting resilience in your relationships.
